And in an ironic twist - the hoarders often become the worst abusers.

The thing I don't get: why aren't people reporting a semi trailer with a hundred barking dogs inside???? It's not like this group would be "low profile". Most people would report it - which is why I wonder if he isn't just holed up somewhere, while these dogs die from starvation/dehydration.....
