Don't be too hard on Forks' Mayor, Rock- ya know what I think?
I think this whole Midnight Flight thing was totally set up by Robert Misseri and his very highpowered Publicity Team. Which team includes an extremely powerful attorney well known for providing legal advice/assistance where needed. Seems to me to be most likely that local officials like the Mayor were either kept in the dark or just completely bowled over by the Juggernaut.
Misseri's team does NOTHING unless there's a lot of press involved, or going to be involved when the moment's right. Check his background out...if I'm lyin', I'm dyin'!
