Very sorry for you. That’s the hardest part about pet ownership, isn’t it. We tend to outlive most of them.

Tortoiseshell, right? I just love those. I have one myself that’s been the most interesting, and challenging cat we’ve owned. They tend to have such a distinct personality that it’s often referred to as a “torti-tude”.

She’s one of three cats that travels with us in the camper. All our cats have been shelter kitties.

When they are with you for such a long period of time it makes it even more difficult to say goodbye.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We had to let go of two of our elderly cats a couple of years ago, within just months of each other. They are buried in our special spot in the yard. It's never easy.

Losing one is rough but two, I can't imagine the pain and heartache.

Sorry to hear this, it brings a tear to my eye. We had to let two dogs go at the same time due to health issues, it was a rough day.
Our pets give so much in the short time they are with us, it is really hard to let go. Treasure her memory, a better day will come. I chuckled at the pic of her by the keyboard.
