We rescued a little Boston Terrier that had been in a puppy mill about 2 years ago. He had terrible breath, just first look at his teeth everything looked good however when we took him to our vet to get checked out he as several small teeth in the back that you couldn't see that were starting too rot. We had the teeth removed and that corrected the problem. Like the others get him to a vet to get his teeth checked out first then go from there. Bad breath is usually a bigger problem that hasn't been found yet.
