It happens for too often. Consider tying a yellow ribbon on your dog's leash. It won't deter idiots who have no clue, but it is a symbol of Dogs In Need of Space.
Thanks. I'll do that. And thanks for that poster. I never thought I'd own an unfriendly dog, and Tiki is really a lovely dog--at home, with people he trusts. We love him to pieces, in spite of his issues. And he seems to really be happy to be with us. I find that I don't mind the training. I believe that with patience he'll eventually turn into a nice doggy--but prolly not a laid-back, everybody's my friend kinda dog.
