I too open dogs mouth, push the pill to back of tongue, close mouth and massage neck till they swallow. I do feel you pain on this one though, I have one that will starve before she will eat anything that has meds in it. She is 5.5 lbs and is 100% more difficult trying to get that mouth open to give her medicine than my 75 lb collie.
