7. Dog swallows pill.

this is how I used to give my Standard Poodle's medicine. Opening his mouth was like looking into a lion's maw! But I don't believe in *****-footing around. He was smart enough to pick pills out of just about any food you could think of.
Now my little Bichon is dumb as a box of rocks. I just put his pill in a little regular food and he eats it up.
