For those of you who said "just tilt the head back and put the pill in the back of the mouth" haven't met the dog where this is impossible. I agree that this is the easiest, most efficient, but there are dogs where this is IMPOSSIBLE.
The dogs or people end up getting injured. Sometimes the stress involved in forcing the medication isn't the best choice.
