Not everyone has :B Covenia has been wonderful (antibiotic for cats that lasts for 2 weeks with one injection).
We routinely don't give the nasal vaccines for the very reason xteacher explained.
As vets, we really don't have any special tricks or aptitude at giving oral meds. Maybe just a little more experience.
The worst bites I have ever gotten were during pilling a cat. You tend to learn from experience to find the easiest path to achieve the goal.
We have people that bring their dogs in daily to get injections rather than go through the hassle of giving pills.
