Having a Catahoula Rescue here also, I found that combining white rice, plain yogurt, and peanut butter in a small ball, placing the pill in the middle, and giving to her BEFORE her meals makes it super easy; she will literally gulp it down. Just make sure the ball is small enough for a single gulp.
