Someone mention eye drops being a pain. Ours get a 1/4 in of optimune ointment in her eyes. I had to fight a little in the beginning and needed help, but offered her a treat after we were done. She now sits and holds her head still with eyes open, then jumps off my lap when we are done, runs to the cupboard where the treats are and waits for one. I have no problem doing eye things now.
I occasionally have to adjust my chi, Tinkerbell with a chiropractic activator. The noise terrified her and made her inclined to snap (which is a behavior she used to do a lot of and can revert to under sufficient stress), until I connected it to treats. Now she spins around and looks for her chicken.
Mary Poppins was onto something with that whole "spoon full of sugar" deal.
