Central air conditioning. Although it's only in the low 90s it's very humid. Dogs go out early for a while, short time outside in the afternoon, then a longer period after it gets dark. Most of the time is spent lollygagging around the house with spurts of active play. Fortunately our kennel is very shady.
Same here in NY but the dew points are around 72 which is terribly oppressive.
Lucy spends her afternoon in the pool but A/C is the savior this summer.
So much rain I feel like we're in the Amazon or something, don't even want to go out and weed, they have flourished.
Don't know how you deal with those temps...I'm wilting here!
Sher - AZPopsExplorerWell Harry's an outside Dove. We tried inviting him in, but he's clostraphobic so he'd rather fly around outside! .... :B

- Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer III'm surprised the water from the sprinkler isn't evaporating before it hits the ground....LOL!!
Re: keeping cool in general: back when we had a pole barn with a dog run, where we could leave our dogs for the day, for example, I'd put out a "kiddie pool" (those 4' plastic pools) with about 9" of water in it for the dogs to splash around in. More often than not, Ike would simply be laying in the pool, watching the world go by! - AZPopsExplorerWe're presently in Surprise. Got some cloud cover today so it only got to around 111. Still hot though!

So where did you find such a cool day. I'm watching the thermometer on the patio that tops at 120. It's at 119 and will do an AZPOP at 120* and explode. Is that where you got your handle? :)
How hot is it? It's hot enough to get me to switch from beer to water!!! Now that's hot.. :) - doxiemom11Explorer IIHaving that sprinkler out helps keep the air cooler around you too. Kind of like a mister that some in the south have. That bird looks like it's enjoying its "spa" day.
