Well, news this morning. Not as good as we hoped, but OK. There were some small clusters of cells they thought were sarcoma. We see the surgeon today and will probably have a spleenectomy on Friday. We hope to give him some good extra time.

To me, this is better than myeloma. If the sarcoma is isolated to the spleen (no ultrasound evidence in the heart), removal could be curative (ask Lance about Harlee). Dogs do quite well without a spleen!!
