- kokosfriendExplorerI am thrilled that he is recovering so quickly. It gives me hope that he has not liver trouble!!
Barb - sher9570ExplorerSo glad he's home, how long does he have to have the collar on. We bought one like that for Lucy this spring, we were in the RV so it worked much better for us than the cone they tried to have us use.
Glad to hear he's eating, each day will get better for sure!
Sher - kokosfriendExplorerThe difficult part will come when he in feeling good and tries to go through the doggy door!! :)
Barb and the 4 chocolates - RBakExplorerPoor guy! But at least he's home with you, and love is a great healer. He's going to be slowed down for a while, but in time he should be better with your great care. Blessings to you and your furry ones!
Rita and her furry ones,
Andy the sheltie and Nicky the horse - kokosfriendExplorerBenBen is doing well. He is now eating good and he drinks enough water. We have reduced his pain meds a bit (as per advise of his regular vet) and he is more alert, but not seeming to have pain while just laying there. He walks gingerly, but seems OK.

- Code2HighExplorerThere is no time like the present for spoiling him.
- kokosfriendExplorerI will start boiling some chicken for him. Thanks
Barb - sher9570ExplorerHe's an old fella so it may take a few days, the anesthesia kinda knocks them out for awhile.
Lucy had some surgery over the winter, she's only six but it knocked her down a bit too, she liked it best when I hand fed her some chicken or steak but eventually her eating picked up.
Hugs to BenBen...
Sher - kokosfriendExplorerBenBen is more awake today. Still not much interested in his food. He will eat cheese and some dog treats. Have given him a little chicken broth to encourage him to drink enough.
Barb - CA_POPPYExplorerWhat a cute picture! "Two old friends having a chat." I hope he heals quickly and has some good times left.
