Glad she made a turnaround - I think we've all walked in those moccasins. More than once I've greeted an elderly dog by saying "Hey - you're still alive?? Let's go have breakfast!" (Morbid humor disguising the fear that one morning they DON'T wake up - or worse yet, you know that you have to make that awful last trip to the vet)
