Blueberry pie

Yesterday Mikko took a whole blueberry pie off the stove I had cooling. It was a Village pie maker 15 dollar pie. I ended up dividing what was left between Lassie and Bud. I guess they had Christmas early.

  • Oh Lord...... my old Aussie Nick was a counter-surfer: his specialty was homemade bread cooling on a rack. I'd push it back against the wall - but he could still get nibbles from the side :-(

Ike was my "saint" - I could have a whole spread of snacks on the coffee table, and he'd never touch anything. Granted, he'd sit and look at me with his "excuse me" expression - once our eyes locked, he'd look over at a piece of cheese, for example, as if to say "could I please have one of those?" I mean, when a dog is that polite, how can you say no?? :-) But one day, during a football game, I must have missed his messages, because he finally got up, walked over to a bowl of Doritos, gently picked ONE CHIP out of the bowl and ate it...LOL!

It was in the kitchen on tile. His white front legs were blue.
