So sorry, Colliehauler, we went through this with Champ. Actually I read somewhere to give him small amounts of ice cream after the seizure. That was supposed to bring him back from the pacing and agitated behavior. Champ paced too, and he did sort of respond to the ice cream when I gave it to him. Just plain vanilla given with a teaspoon - not very much - just a little. I would call the vet and have him examined again. Champ was on Phenobarb - sometimes the dogs go on Valium. I had a dog on that too. And Champ had a seizure in the trailer when we were in a campground in northern Illinois. We went home the next day. Hopefully the issue of the seizures can be resolved.
