Can Cats Ride in TT While Moving?

We are planning on doing full-time RV'ing for a while and I have two cats - both very friendly and fairly adaptable. Trying to decide whether to bring them with or try to find a home for them...would be difficult to give them up, but also want to do what is workable for us and will be best for the cats...

One of the questions I have is whether the cats can stay in the TT while we are traveling? Or do they need to be in the vehicle with us? That would be a lot of time in a crate. :-/

    We travel with our cat and 2 dogs, they all ride in the truck with us. I would never consider letting them ride in the trailer. With slides in, there are too many places they can hide. Imagine riding in an earthquake for 4,6,8 or more hours.

    Would you ride in the TT while it is moving? Sounds like the pet has become a burden.
