Cat Litter odors.....

OK - I have a question for all of you RV'ers that take cats with you on your journeys

If we become full-timers (which is something we'd like to do) - we plan to bring our two cats with us

There is an ideal space in the front between the driver and passenger seats of the RV we have just bought for a litter box when we are camped.....

They are good cats and use the box with no problems, and are good at covering up their "business" when done

What have you found to be the best odor treaters you can use within an RV?

  • My cat's litterbox is in the exact same place. Why do you need an odor treatment? Just scoop.

I hope you aren't used to letting their litter go days between scoops? That's like you going 24 hours without flushing your toilet. I scoop mine whenever he uses it, about 3x day, since I'm in the same room anyway. Takes seconds.

I keep a Litter Genie nearby. If you scoop the clumps directly into the Litter Genie, there's nothing there to smell. I hope that helps.
