Cat's Eye Lost It's Color

My fifteen year old developed a weepy eye. The vet prescribed an antibiotic drop and it cleared it up. Now "ole blue eyes" is "ole blue eye". The eye lost it's color and it is now grey.

What could have happened? Could it be a cataract?

  • Thanks. I have an appointment next Tuesday and I will let you know what happens.
  • Not enough information, it really needs to be seen. I never recommend anything to do with eyes online. There are just too many things that can go bad quickly without proper treatment and the results tend to be permanent - read vision loss.
