Thanks, Dutchmen Sport - I was just going to add that. I hate to say it, but the Board of Directors probably gave him a stiffer sentence than what the law would do?
I used the word "apparently" because we never really see the guy's face; since I didn't know for a fact that it was him, I felt I had to add as degree of uncertainty of identity. Yes, clearly it was abuse; and I'd be willing to bet that poor dog received a heap of abuse before he ever got on the elevator, due to his cowering demeanor.
