Check-up..picture size corrected ...whoops...it was me LOL

Izzy went back to the Uni of Guelph Veterinarian hospital last week for a recheck...her pacemaker is working great...8 yrs left on the battery and her Pulmonary hypertension is being managed with the Sildenafil..they were doing major renos at the hospital so we had to go into thru the cancer center..they use the wagons for stretchers and of course I couldn't resist a pic LOL..the other pic is her with one of the 4th yr students who renamed Izzy...Izzyadorable ...she was amazed at how good Izzy was having her pacer checked and the dopplers and EKG done...proud momma here LOL

    Actually there arent any pacemaker made specifically for dogs...they are all for humans....the companys, in Izzys case Meditronic, donate any pacemakers that have past the expiry date as they cannot resterilize them for humans...at one time they reused pacemakers that were removed from humans but they havent done that for some time..
    A three legged doggie with an artificial hip...now thats impressive ! Glad he is doing well...

    I didn't realize that there were pacemakers for dogs! Although I guess I shouldn't be surprised...our three legged Lab/Chessie has had a total hip replacement.

    How cute! It looks like Izzy is in a little bitty cattle truck. She and her student are both adorable. So glad she has a spiffy prognosis. Sounds iike you are good to go!

    Lance...you are so right...even I am having trouble seeing them LOL ... dont know what photobucket did to them !
    Hope Calvin is holding his own in his fight against that fungi !

    That is great Izzy, so glad to hear that.

    by the way pops, I've been told that is age but don't take my word for it. :W
