Do You Travel With a Solo Siamese?
Yes I do. Kinda didn't have a choice.
When I decided to go full time I had found a good home with a friend for my Siamese cat. At the last minute she changed her mind ...on the date my house closed!
So, Sam the Siamese came with me in the MH. My first big problem was the airline crate. He HATED it and let me know the whole time. After several attempts of different crates 'he' settled on liking a big soft sided crate with screens 'all' the way around. Big enough for his bed, food bowls and litter box for him to be safe when we were traveling down the road.
By the way: Siamese are not "chatty"! They darn right talk and complain all the time! If you don't want to listen to a cat that has to tell you all his 'poor me' problems all day long don't get a Siamese!:W I wouldn't have any other breed of cat. The Siamese is smart and actually likes to be around people and IMHO they thrive on being the ONLY cat!
6 years on the road and Sam loves every minute it and can't wait till we get to the CG so he can lay and bake in the windows of the MH!
