I would disagree with Rockhillmanor only in that they are not "complaining", they are "commenting - frequently and loudly". :D I love the breed and would not want to be without one.
Imp (pedigreed) & Joxer (rescue) travel with us most of the time. They are both geriatric (19 & 17) Since we have a 5er, they travel in the cab with us. Their carry case is strapped between the dog baskets and I can reach into the box for a quick pet or to take care of any needs. (Joxer can get car sick) Because of their ages, we need more frequent potty stops and they let us know when it is time.
Siamese tend to become *very* attached to their person. They will be friendly with other people, but still possessive over your lap. If Imp is annoyed with me and won't come when I call, all I have to do is call Joxer and Imp will come running to be sure that he is still my top cat.
They are active and curious and will find any small hole and go through it just to see what is on the other side. So you should leave it in a harness and leash until it has had time to explore your rig and show you all the hiddy-holes.
Siamese are wonderful companion cats I wish you many happy years with your new best friend.
