His tail is a bit odd. It looked half-size when he was a puppy. It's more feathery now like a shepherd's, but still not quite "normal".
Bat-dog's face is a bit misleading. Her muzzle is longer and narrower than photos show - from the top, very much beagle; from underneath, it's broad and very wrinkled. I keep trying to get a photo of her in her "bat-mode", but she lays like that right next to my face when I'm on the couch and I can't get a full face shot of her.
