What ever brand you decide on you
should be looking at the protein and fat content first. Stay away from the real high protein and fat content dog foods.
Buy a dog food that is low in protein and low in fat. Many dog food companies offer a senior brand, or diet.
Old dogs shouldn't be on excessively high protein foods and overweight dogs need and lower fat content. Some of the new foods out there especially the no grain ones have very high protein and fat contents.
That said. I needed a low protein low fat for my 2 seniors.
