Someone makes an anonymous complaint. You dog has NOT bitten.
The manager kicks your dog out.
Why would you want to return to this joint?
Got to agree, whole heartedly. There has to be much more to this than we have been told.
It is highly unlikely you will be able to win any legal action to get your dog back in. If you live there year round, you might have a tenant/landlord relationship and have a much sturdier leg to stand on. However, most RV parks take care to maintain an innkeeper status which gives them much more leeway on things like pets.
If they aren't offering you a refund for leaving, you have a much better case to present in small claims court for the return of the unearned rent. An unsubstantiated, anonymous complaint sure seems like pretty shaky ground to evict with no refund.
The inquiring minds sure would like to know what really went down. It is almost unfathomable that the manager just came up and said, "we had a complaint about your dog. Can't tell you what the complaint was or who complained. Cant tell you what supposedly happened or when, but your dog has to leave." And if that really did happen, why would anyone want to stay around such crazies anyway?
