Sending PPPs (Papillon Pings & Prayers) for the whole family. Hopefully, Doogie will still have a collar with I.D., or was "chipped", so that he can be reunited with his family.
I would recommend that the family (or a friend like you) can contact the local Shelter and Vets, to let them know to be on the look out for the missing dog.
How far was this from their home? Is there a chance that Doogie is going to turn up at the house one of these days? Stranger things have happened....and I hope they can happen again:)
