Oh, my!! Prayers for your friends. I would contact shelters and vets for a minimum 50 mile radius. If you can find Animal Control Officer's info, call them, too. You want to spread a wide net. Animals can travel further than you would think. And then there's the possibility of a Good Samaritan picking the dog up, and taking it further away, before they find a shelter to take it to. Best wishes for all involved.
