Go to https://www.petfinder.com/ Fill out the info giving your location (the search will start with a rescue group nearest to you) and the other info in the drop down lists (dog, cat, breed, age, male/female). When the search results come up, look around--most all the rescues have info about the individual dog. You will need to fill out an adoption questionnaire, before being approved, so you may not get your first choice until you are pre-approved. A good idea (since you have specific needs in a breed) is to click on the rescue group (within one of the dog search results) and contact the rescue group and tell them exactly what you are looking for (either by phone or e-mail contact). Most of the dogs on Petfinder are fostered and the foster parent will know the personality of the dogs and may be able to give you exactly what you want. Many of them are purebreds too, if that's what you want.
Whatever you do, PLEASE adopt---there are SO MANY wonderful dogs out there that lost their homes through no fault of their own. BTW--there usually IS a fee for these animals, as most have been spayed/neutered, have all their current shots, medical exams, microchipped, etc. PLUS you are usually helping other dogs. Most ALL rescues make NO MONEY from the adoptions fee--all money goes to the rescuing of more animals.
Good luck! Please let us know when you get your new family member.
