Some of our best fur kids were rescues and humane society dogs. While mixed, the advantage is that these dogs usually don't have the physical issues or personality issues of a pure breed. Our current dogs are medium sized terriers with Border Terrier dominant. Both dogs are extremely intelligent and as puppies were house trained within 24 hours. Never had dogs this compliant and easy to train before these two.
