I adopted an 8 month old Golden Retriever from the local Humane Society. He is now 10 years old. He gets a puppy cut from April to October. During this time, there is virtually no pet fur and he looks like a yellow lab. He loves his haircuts, he acts very playful after he gets it. He is a larger dog (70 lbs)and enjoys hiking and walks, but, when in the camper he has his spot and lays there on his own. He has a smaller "presence."
We also have a 2.5 year old yellow lab. He is a great dog but he has ALOT more energy! The two are very different yet they are best buddies.
