We have had Dobermans for over 40 years. We find them very easy to camp with, they're not overly big for our trailer and with thier short hair are very clean. However over the past few years we have run into CGs that ban certain breeds so you may consider that on you breed selection. We have never had an issue with our dogs. The only problems we have had are the owners of little yappers that think its cute when thier little dogs strain on thier leashes (if they have a leash) to bark at big dogs.
