I might like the Cavalier King Charles spaniel. They are not too froo-froo and love to play or relax.
Big caveat: purchase from a REPUTIBLE breeder. To do this, it's pricey. Research, research, research. They are prone to heart problems. But, they are (for us) the perfect breed. Ours love RVing, boating, hiking and relaxing.
There are rescue groups available that have saved thousands from horrific living conditions. Check them out and save a life.
Word of warning: one look into their eyes and your heart will melt and you'll be sucked into the vortex.
