http://www.animalplanet.com/breed-selector/dog-breeds.htmlI would also like to add that retired greyhounds can be really great dogs. The only issue with them is that some of them have been caged their whole life and may take a little effort to house train.
With respect: Housebreaking is LESS of an issue with Retired racing Greys. They do not soil their "cages" and are actually used to doing their business when released outside into the exercise yard or walked. Of course, there are a few exceptions.
Our first Greyhound would not even "go" in our campsite! She had to be walked. So she was not only house trained but camping trained! Yes, we always picked up.

The comment regarding problems housebreaking is absolutely not true with the racing greyhounds
It depends on how the dogs are kept. My sister has racing Whippets and they live in her house and are pampered house dogs when not racing. The hounds that are kept in crates at the track for most of their lives don't get socialized, house trained, or given much attention beyond what is required by the racing association. If you get a mature dog that's use to being in a crate 24/7 it's hard to retrain them.
