2012Coleman - Congrats on your new puppy! I love Wheatens. They are such great family dogs.
You can help the pup bond with hubby, by having hubby do EVERYTHING for her. Feed her, bath her, practice obedience, regular walks, and take her outside, for the first three months or so. Then you can take over a few chores if you like.
