Wow... interesting thread. As a dog owner, I do walk my dog around the park, and I do clean up after her. I don't let her go in occupied spots, and if there is a dog walk, I bring her there. Most of the time, she does her business at my spot.
You will never know how many dogs have peed and pooped in your spot before you get there, unless you go to a campground that doesn't allow pets.
I have never had anyone do anything other than say Hi, and how are you doing, when Im walking my dog. I do the same when they are walking their dog.
I go camping to relax, and if I got stressed out because a dog peed on the edge of the grass as he was walking by, I might as well stay home. I guess it's more acceptable to dog owners than non-dog owners. If they don't pick up the poop, that's a different story. But this, and the other thread about the guy running out to a dog owner asking if he was going to "pick it up", when the dog just peed just make me shake my head and wonder if some people are a dog away from a stroke.
