In a nutshell, the Defenders Of The Light (DOTL), are a group of RV.NET pets',mostly dogs and cats, who have dedicated their lives to fighting Darkness and Evil throughout the world. Indeed, throughout the universe as we know it. A number of DOTL sagas appeared on RV.NET a few years ago. These were primarily penned by Lorni (Nifty250), myself (DOTLDaddy) and occasionally others. It all started with a topic called, as I recall, "Halloween Crack", by Lon Frank.

There are many, many DOTL's still on active duty here on RV.NET. The two original leaders of the DOTL, Gen. Missy and Gen. Jax, have since passed the baton to younger Defenders. Both joined the Elite, Rainbow Division years ago, with full honors.
