Holy ****(pun intended), this topic has really piled on...:-). You certainly do need some popcorn to go through all the responses...We have 4 dogs, we do set up X-pens and they do most of there business on our site(that's how we want it) BUT, if by chance we are walking 1, 2 or all four of them, there may be a slim chance that one of them may need to relieve themselves on the outskirts of another's site...sorry, $hit happens!! To those who have the notion that any dog on leash would be allowed to poop or pee on your mat/rug...that's a tad far-fetched.
It seems that in many cases, those of us who came up through the rank's of camping(sleeping on the ground, tents, tent trailers etc etc) have a better grasp of what surrounds everyone in most campsites(no, I'm not talking Resort's)...there's plenty of wild animal scat to go around from Buffalo Chip's to bear scat to duck poop....Anyways, if you want pristine, start camping in concrete jungle's only!! Oh ...IMHO! :-)
