Our two Scotties caught kennel cough when we had to board them ONE night. They had been vaccinated, but that doesn't prevent it. Theirs wasn't bad. . . had them on a cough suppressant for two weeks and one had to do several days of antibiotics. I called the business as well and was told that it happens. But in having dogs for 30 years, I have never had a dog get it from boarding which was usually at a vet's. Won't take them back there.
