A MH would be much simpler to deal with. If you stop in FL heat for lunch, I doubt you would get TT cooled down to comfortable temp even if you had a generator, unless you run it while towing.
As to Walmart overnights (or Wallydocking), it is usually for a quick overnight stop on way to a destination. I wouldn't think you would be staying at Walmart in your hometown.
