Dogs in bathrooms
The past 2 years I have noticed an increase in people taking their dogs into the campground bathroom. What is going on with this? These are not therapy dogs - they are tied up outside campers and such...

Most campgrounds do have rules about animals in the bathrooms. It is not necessary to take your pet with you when you shower in the morning - leave it inside your RV. If it has a problem being alone that long, then perhaps an obedience course is in order, or pet therapy for the dog. We are dog lovers and have a dog, but I would never take it into a park building with me. As camp hosts, if we saw someone take any type of animal into a building, we would indeed want to verify that it was a service animal to allow it to remain in the building. And yes, we have found piles of poo in the shower from the pets that went in with their masters. Not fun to clean up.
