Why? He is only a man, and has no more opportunity to talk to God than you, or I. IF you are a Born Again Christian. You have a direct line to God. All you got to do is use it.
This can easily turn into a religious fight. Let's respect the Pope and each other's chosen religion and let it rest.
I respect the Pope as much as I do any man. We all have a open line directly to God, as does he.
Notice in your quote above how your words are offensive to Catholics. Others noticed it as well and said so. You really should quit before you offend others again and start a theological battle that has no place in an RVing forum. - TerryallanExplorer II

I have always believed animals go to heaven. Reading the Bible, there are many references to the different animals already there. Good case in point is in Revelation...Armageddon...Jesus returns AND his army...HOW? Riding on white horses. ...
Not to get into a theological argument here... I'M just saying if you follow the Bible it's right there. Of course there are dogs there.
I agree totally with this and I might add, who better than the Pope to educate us and inform us of what our next life will be.
I am so looking forward to all of our beloved creatures that went before me.
And whoever said there were no dogs in heaven because they don't have a soul...I never believed this either.

This pope may not be able to completely overcome the bureaucracy of the church, but he's sure earning my respect and affection, for just being a nice guy as much as he can.

I'm going to write to my sister and brother in law, who own a dairy farm, and tell them that every cow they've ever milked will be waiting for them when they get there. LOL. Then I'll tease them that the cows will still have to be milked!

I was speaking for myself so he may be only a man to you but he's closer to God's ear than I am! That's a fact! :-)

The Pope might not be able to "make that call" but I submit that his communication with 'the Boss" is much better that I. With that being said, I certainly hope the Pope know's what he's talking about! :)

Sure, he is a man just like you and I, but Pope Francis's dedication to God and His Church are impeccable.
