When I noticed many of the RV's having small garden fences around them, I asked a park ranger and he advised that it keeps the gators from hiding under the RV's at night and snatching the dogs when they come out. Not sure if you'll be in area where this could be a concern, but thought I would mention it as he said they lose a few dogs every year to gator attacks. Could be that he was spinning a good yarn for a northern boy too. Lol
