keeps the gators from hiding under the RV's at night and snatching the dogs when they come out. Not sure if you'll be in area where this could be a concern, but thought I would mention it as he said they lose a few dogs every year to gator attacks.Could be that he was spinning a good yarn for a northern boy too. Lol

Which by the way, it goes without saying that when staying in Florida near any body of water day or night.....do NOT walk your dog anywhere around the water.
It only takes a second for the gator to get your dog. Gators are opportunists and act very quickly.
