Droncit 'capsules'?

Picked up Droncit for my dog at a new vet here down in Florida. Label on bottle says Droncit.

Got home looked it up for side effects and pill identifier.

What I received were green 'capsules'. Pill identifier says it should be white tablet. Couldn't find a generic with google search.

Anyone know if Droncit added green capsules to their line?

I've never seen that restriction recommended and rarely see any reaction (and I think the only one has been GI). I don't think it crosses BBB, but not positive.

Praziquantel, the active ingregient in droncit, is available in generic form now but I have no idea what those forms look like. I'd wait and call the vet tomorrow morning and ask.

Sometimes we used to get a generic product and the computer was not updated with the generic name and the prescription label printed with the brand name :(.

    That could explain the label.
I won't give it to him and will check the vet in the am.

    Thank you.
