El Jefe .... looks well fed.

How cool is this ? Glad to know this wildlife is still with us
in our camping/hiking region.

...chunky big cat. Probably a good hunter.:C

    BUT definitely NOT a pet!! Just leave it alone - IF you are lucky enough to see it (him/her??)

    And keep your fur children close and out of reach of the Jefe so that they do not become a meal for him.

    True, but there are mountain lions and bobcats in that area already, so one more cat won't make much difference. I doubt a big dog would be much of a match for El Jefe either.

    We've camped at Patagonia Lake State Park not far from there and they have signs posted about mountain lion sightings. We keep the dogs on a leash and never leave them alone outside the trailer.
