Imagine if tomorrow, we all woke up, looked around our homes and everything "made in China" was missing. No computer, no TV, no phones. Your favorite athletic shoes might be gone. The list goes on and on. We'd all be pretty upset but I'll tell you what, I draw the line at food, whether for human consumption or for pets. 20 years ago there were public warnings that pet jerky made in China was colored with the dye they use in saddles. Sounds logical. Make something look appealing and the Western market will buy it. No, not me. And the companies are getting so tricky. I looked over some dog treats that had a USA flag printed on them. Read the fine print and guess what? Made in China for US retailers. We don't need to buy them, we can make our own with a little effort. We all have choices.
