Flying with pets
Traveling around the country. Want to fly home for a few days but not sure about dogs. Obvious options are find kennel or go with you. Other options or experiences rvers have done?

You put the dog at much higher risk when it's in your vehicle.
There are private services that fly pets. It may be expensive but they do not fly in cargo, they fly in the seat area.
