I'm so sorry. We love our faithful companions unconditionally as they do the same with us. It's so hard to lose one and no matter how many times, it's still hard. I know you said you'll be ok and you're right, but right now it hurts. She was way too young. Our lab will be 14 in December and although she is healthy, every day I wonder if and when she will take a turn for the worst. I know it's hard to live that way, but it's on my mind. We are grateful for every day and lover and cuddle her all the time.
